Drahá Tarjo, Je čas vybrat který příběh o Nightwish zde končí a který bude pokračovat dál. Pracovali jsme na tomto díle 9 let a nejsme připraveni to vzdát. Nightwish je životní dráha, něco pro co se dá žít. Jsme si jistí, že to nemůžeme nechat být.
Stejně tak si jsme jistí, že už do do toho nemůžeme jít dále s tebou a Marcelem. V průběhu minulého roku se stalo něco smutného, co zůstává v mé hlavě každý den, ráno i večer. Tvůj postoj a přesvědčení skončit s Nightwish. To jsou věci, o kterých jsem nikdy nevěřil, že je uvidím mezi svými drahými přáteli. Lidé, kteří mezi sebou rok nemluví, nemohou zůstat v jedné kapele.
Zapojili jsme se do průmyslu kde obchodní stránka věci je nutným zlem a starostí po celou dobu. Jsme také kapelou, která vždy dělala muziku od srdce, pro přátelství a pro muziku samotnou. Duševní odkaz měl být vždy důležitější než peníze. Nightwish je skupina, jsou to emoce.

Tento postoj se mi jasně ukázal ve dvou věcech, které jsi mi řekla na letišti v Torontu: "Já už Nightwish nepotřebuji" a "Pamatuj si Tuomasi, mohla bych kapelu opustit kdykoliv, varuji tě jen den předem."
Jednoduše již nemůžu psát další písně, abys je zpívala.
Říkala sis že jsi jen "hostující zpěvačka" v Nightwish. Nyní hostování končí a my budeme pokračovat s novou zpěvačkou. Buď si jistá, že pro nás je to stejné oživení jako pro tebe. Všichni jsme to tak cítili příliš dlouho.

Osobě která se soustředí na svou kreativitu víc než na cokoliv jiného, osobě pro kterou železo je víc než důl...
Akceptovali jsme a cítili stejně všechno, kromě chamtivosti, podceňovaní fanoušků a porušování slibů. Pět z nás souhlasilo, že Nightish je na prvním místě ve všem, co budeme dělat v letech 2004 - 2005. Pro tebe však bylo hodně věcí důležitějších. Konečným příkladem byla totálně vyprodaná show v Oslu, kterou jsi chtěla zrušit, protože jsi potřebovala cvičit na svůj sólový koncert, být s přáteli a jít do kina. Toto byla Marcelova slova ve vysvětlení zrušení koncertu. Budiž to jen jedním příkladem za mnoho dalších. Nemohl jsem se dívat na takové sobectví a odmítání našich fanoušků.
Nightwish je životní dráha a práce s mnoha závazky. Mezi námi i k fanouškům. S tebou tyto závazky nezvládneme.
Ani v hloubi nás nevíme, které z tvých já, nás dovedlo k tomuto závěru. Marcelo tě nějak změnil z milé dívky na primadonu, která neví co si dřív vzít. Jsi si příliš jistá svou nenahraditelností a postavením.
Je zřejmé, že svým stresem a trápením jsi vinila nás čtyři. A myslíš si, že jsme tě nerespektovali, nebo neposlouchali. Věř nám, chovali jsme tobě největší respekt jako k úžasné zpěvačce stejně jako ke kamarádce. A velmi brzy během pár minulých let se plány děly pod tvou taktovkou. Ty jsi byla vždy jediná, kdo chtěl víc peněz za show. Tento postoj "náhrady a víc peněz za vše" je důvodem, proč jsme tak moc zklamaní!
Moc si přejeme abys odteď poslouchala své srdce namísto Marcela. Kulturní rozdíly, kombinované s chamtivostí, přizpůsobováním a láskou jsou nebezpečná kombinace. Přestaň sama sebe ubíjet.
Toto rozhodnutí není nic, na co bychom byli zvlášť hrdí, ale nedala jsi nám šanci. Propast mezi námi je příliš široká. A toto rozhodnutí jsme učinili jednohlasně. Jsme dál, tam kde se věci nedají urovnat jen slovy.
